We are delighted to invite applications for a highly skilled, creative and innovative Teacher of Art and Photography to join our thriving department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner with expertise in GCSE Fine Art and experience of teaching Photography. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge across a range of artistic disciplines including ceramics, printmaking, drawing, painting and art theory, alongside the ability to deliver engaging and high-quality Photography lessons at KS4.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher who encourages students to explore, take creative risks and develop confidence in their artistic and photographic abilities. We are a mixed 11-18 Academy with a comprehensive intake; the majority of whom live in the Pudsey Area. The proportion of students supported by the pupil premium is average as is the proportion of students supported at school action plus or with a statement of special educational needs. We have strong links with the Pudsey Community and work in partnership with Priesthorpe School and Pudsey Grangefield at Post-16 level.
