We are looking for an energetic and creative female teacher of Physical Education to develop their career as part of a strong and experienced team resulting in some very strong examination results at GCSE and OCR Applied Courses. Owing to the current makeup of the PE Department we are looking to appoint a female teacher for Girls PE and who can teach PE up to at least GCSE. We are also looking for someone also is able to teach another subject at Key Stage 3; please state this other subject in your application. This appointment is suitable for Newly Qualified Teachers or an experienced teacher.
Sports Leadership is a key component of our curriculum as is an extensive offer of clubs and after school fixtures. Both traditional and non-traditional sports are encouraged, although candidates should have strong experience in teaching dance, gymnastics and netball.
We have been fortunate to have had a new MUGA built and have recently had a substantial rebuild of the main block in the school. We will have a full-sized grass football pitch in September 2022 in addition to two existing gymnasiums and have access to the local Bannisters Athletics Track and Cedars Sports Centre (both within walking distance).
