Teacher of Physical Education (Fixed Term Contract) January-July 2026 job summary

Wren Academy Finchley opened in September 2008 as a new school sponsored by the London Diocesan Board for Schools and Berkhamsted School.

The Academy has continued to grow as we opened our Sixth form in 2013 and have taken on new primary cohorts since 2015.

We wish to appoint a colleague on a Fixed Term Contract to this post who has:

Outstanding teaching and interpersonal skills

The drive and enthusiasm to inspire and motivate all students

Strong academic qualifications

The ability to teach GCSE is essential - the ability to teach a second subject is also desirable

Evidence of ambition and a commitment to continuing professional development

The desire and skills to ensure that all students make exceptional progress

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
