What skills and experience we're looking for
We are excited and proud to be the first UTC in the UK to specialise in health care and health science. Based in central West Bromwich we aim to provide an outstanding provision for the children we serve. We opened our doors to the first ever year 7 cohort in September 2022 and will continue to do so until we are full. From September 2025 we will have years 7,8, 9, 10,12 and 13. This is an amazing opportunity to join a growing school and be able to develop your skills as we grow.
We are looking for passionate and creative teacher of Physical Education who works well within a team and who will help us on our journey to provide an exceptional educational provision for our pupils and families.
Candidates should:
- Have experience of teaching across the key stages. Applications from newly qualified teachers are welcome
- Be a consistently good/outstanding teacher
- Be an exceptional classroom practitioner with high expectations of both learning and behaviour
- Demonstrate an ability to inspire, motivate and enthuse pupils
- Be committed to raising standards for all and share the same drive to constantly learn and improve
- Show willingness to lead initiatives and show evidence of impact.
- Demonstrate a passion to make a difference to others
- Be proficient with the use of technology for learning and have a willingness to innovate.
