We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Physical Education to join our successful Practical Arts Faculty. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate practitioner—whether experienced or early in their career—to contribute to a high-performing department and inspire students across all key stages.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver high-quality PE teaching across KS3–KS5
  • Inspire students of all abilities to enjoy PE, develop their skills and understand the importance of fitness, health and wellbeing
  • Contribute to a dynamic and inclusive curriculum that promotes participation, progress and enjoyment
  • Support a vibrant extra-curricular and enrichment programme, including fixtures, clubs and events
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Practical Arts Faculty

This is a full-time or 0.8 part-time, permanent post, starting September 2026. The role is suitable for a full-time ECT, and we offer a well-structured and supportive induction programme.

About You

We are looking for a colleague who is:

  • An excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge
  • Passionate about Physical Education and able to communicate that enthusiasm to students
  • Committed to high expectations, inclusivity and student achievement
  • Reflective, collaborative and keen to contribute to the wider life of the school

A full, clean driving licence and the ability to drive the school minibus are desirable, as this supports attendance at fixtures and events across the Kingston borough. Candidates should hold a valid first aid qualification or be willing to undertake training on appointment.
