Teacher of Physics
(Full time or with the option of 0.8FTE if required)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Teacher of Physics to join the Science Faculty in this successful selective girls’ school, which consistently achieves outstanding examination results. The successful candidate will be expected to teach to both GCSE and A level standard. The desire to be involved in curriculum developments within the Science Faculty is essential along with a willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities and to contribute to the wider life of our school community.
KGGS is an outstanding selective academy of 1207 students where the focus in the classroom is on teaching and learning whilst developing students and staff alike. The Science faculty is a large, highly successful and thriving department. All students study separate sciences at GCSE whilst a large number of students select A-level Science courses. A-level Physics is an increasingly popular subject choice at A-level with more students opting to study the subject each year.
If you are interested in working with enthusiastic and highly motivated students in a supportive and suitably challenging environment, at a school which is recognised nationally for its good practice, then we would like to hear from you.
Applications are welcome from both NQTs and more experienced colleagues.
