We are delighted to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher of Physics to join our Science faculty. You will be joining a dynamic department who are relentless in their drive to be excellent in all aspects of their work.
The successful candidate must be able to inspire and develop students through their teaching and knowledge of the curriculum, hold a creative approach to their lesson delivery as well as being confident in strategies to enable all students to make or exceed their levels of progress. We welcome applications from teachers who are committed to developing their own pedagogy and who are keen to work in a vibrant and inspiring faculty.
For the teacher post we welcome applications from ECTs (formerly known as NQTs) and have an excellent programme to support your development.
Arthur Terry was one of the first Teaching Schools in the country, is a National Support School, and offers an exciting school-based teacher training route through the Arthur Terry SCITT. It has also recently been awarded Teaching Hub status to lead teacher development across over 200 schools in North Birmingham. The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is a highly successful Multi Academy Trust (MAT) encompassing 5 secondary schools, 11 primary schools, a Teaching School Hub, and School Centred Initial Teacher Training provider. Our schools are based in North Birmingham, Tamworth, Lichfield, and North Warwickshire. A further secondary school and 2 primary schools will join ATLP during the next 12 months
