We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate teacher to join our very successful Plumbing Department within our sixth Form. The post is suitable for an experienced or newly qualified teacher wishing to join a committed team of specialists who ensure a high standard of teaching, learning and achievement.

However, a professional development package will be offered for suitably experienced individuals who have a well-founded Plumbing background and who possess a minimum of a level 3 industry qualification but have no previous teaching experience.
The successful candidate will be an inspiring teacher who will have a record of good retention and success. You must be able to teach Plumbing and related units across a range of courses. The department offer includes Level1, 2 and NVQ Level 3 City and Guilds Qualifications as well as EAL Certificates.
Interested candidates will have:
• QTLS or be willing to study for a teaching qualification and an Assessors Award and/or Internal Verifiers award.
• the ability to teach Plumbing to KS4/KS5
• the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
• the ability to motivate and achieve excellent results
• excellent organisational skills and an appreciation of your subject
• the ability to form positive working relationships with staff and pupils
