What skills and experience we're looking for
Boston Spa Academy are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Teacher of Psychology. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy and we hope for it to have a profound impact on our sixth form provision, Elliott Hudson College Boston Spa. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and inspiring students in Key Stage 5 who have chosen to study psychology at A Level.
The ideal applicant will have:
Either:
- A successful placement(s), teaching at KS5 (applicants currently in training)
or:
- A successful record of teaching with very good exam results at one or more of KS4 and KS5 (applicants who already have gained QTS)
- A detailed knowledge of current developments in education including the use of the Pupil Premium
- The ability to put vision into practice.
