Teacher of Psychology (Part or Full time) job summary

We have a vacancy at present for a part-time Teacher of Psychology to join us in January 2021, applications will also be accepted for April and September 2021 starts. Governors are therefore seeking applications from suitable candidates for this role. Full time could also be considered for the right candidate.

This is an exciting vacancy for a part-time teacher of Psychology. Psychology has been a popular A-Level subject at the College for a number of years and good numbers of pupils opt annually to study this subjects. The role will initially focus predominantly on years 12 and 13, with some potential contribution in other year groups.

Staff at the College feedback frequently on the pleasant nature of pupils and the relative absence of behavioral problems to manage because pupils are engaged in their learning. The College also champions staff well-being and has reviewed its directed time and calendar based on feedback from the staff about the demands of their roles. Support for both new teachers and those at different career stages is excellent as are opportunities to grow develop and progress.

It is important that the successful candidate is a good fit in our team of staff, and so they may be highly experienced or just starting out on their teaching journey, what matters to us is their passion for teaching, strength as a classroom practitioner and love of their subject area. NQT’s could be considered for an April or September 2021 start.
