We are looking for an inspirational RE teacher who can:

✔ Deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons that deepen faith, challenge perspectives, and develop moral reasoning.

✔ Promote the Catholic ethos of the school, integrating Gospel values into everyday learning.

✔ Support learners in their spiritual, moral, and academic development.

✔ Encourage meaningful discussions, critical thinking, and personal reflection.

✔ Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the school’s faith life, including liturgies, Masses, and retreats.

✔ Tackle the big theological questions from learners with patience, humour, and wisdom!

About the RE Faculty

Religious Education is central to life at St John Fisher Catholic College, helping learners develop their knowledge of Catholicism, other world religions, and philosophical thought.

  • KS3: Learners explore the foundations of Catholic faith, sacred texts, and ethical issues, alongside other world religions.
  • GCSE: Following the Eduqas Route B specification, learners delve deeper into Catholic theology, religious practices, and moral debates.
  • A-Level: Our AQAReligious Studiescourse challenges learners to think critically about Philosophy, Ethics, and Theology.
