Teacher of RE and Ethics job summary

We would like to welcome an innovative and creative Teacher of RE & Ethics to Brompton Academy for September 2021. This is a full time, permanent appointment.

Our new colleague will be an experienced qualified teacher or an able NQT with a passion for engaging and challenging students in their subject. They will have the ability to inspire their students by imparting knowledge and information by way of their lessons.

Students at Brompton Academy are given the opportunity to develop an understanding of ethical themes and issues, alongside the study of diverse cultures and religious beliefs and practices and will develop their own ideas within each topic shared. Ethics is part of our core curriculum and as such all students will study it up to GCSE level and have the opportunity to continue beyond to A Level if they choose.

The successful applicant will be coming to a multi-academy trust-wide supportive learning environment, characterised by open management, and in the knowledge that they will enjoy the full support and care of the pragmatic (and down to earth) leadership team. We have a dynamic, innovative team of professional staff who want to make a difference to the lives, aspirations and opportunities of our young people. We would encourage applicants to visit the UKAT website to view the many employee benefits on offer https://www.universityofkentacademiestrust.org.uk/careers-with-ukat
