We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reflective and dedicated Teacher of Religious Studies to join our successful and thriving Social Studies Faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented teacher, whether at the start of their career or looking for a new challenge, to make a meaningful difference to the lives of young people.

The successful applicant will be able to teach Religious Studies across the full age and ability range, including GCSE Religious Studies, and will contribute to our core Religious Studies provision. There may also be opportunities to contribute to the delivery of Citizenship and PSHE, supporting students' wider personal growth and preparation for life beyond school.
Qualifications and Training
- Degree and PGCE, QTS or equivalent
Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies
- A good understanding of how children learn
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils’ needs
- Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils
- Knowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children
- Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies
- Good ICT skills, particularly using ICT to support learning
