What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a well-qualified, committed and enthusiastic full-time teacher of Science, with a passion for teaching and learning and a clear focus on raising the achievements of young people. The successful applicant will be passionate about teaching Science and developing students as curious learners who will become fluent in scientific theories. They will inspire students to appreciate the richness and diversity of the scientific world. They will be well organised and willing to go the ‘extra mile’. They will have a proven track record of successful Science teaching across different key stages and believe that all students can succeed. The ability to offer A level Science would be advantageous.
