What skills and experience we're looking for

Beacon Hill Academy is looking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Science to develop, plan and deliver effective and high-quality learning experiences for all learners.

What the school offers its staff

Beacon Hill Academy is an inspirational academy which instils ambition and desire in learners, with values of dreaming big, rewarding effort, leading together, respecting each other and learning that inspires running through all aspects of school life. The academy is well led with high expectations for all (Ofsted 2021).

Dudley Academies Trust was formed in September 2017 under the sponsorship of Dudley College of Technology. The Trust when combined with the sponsor, annually supports 8,500 young people aged 4 to 19 years old and employs almost 1,300 staff.

As a Trust we are highly centralised, which means that all of our systems and processes are aligned. Everything we do is developed collaboratively involving many professionals and experts who work together across the Trust, all striving to provide the highest quality provision for our learners.

Teaching and Learning is supported by a central team of Subject Directors who are experienced teachers with leadership and mentoring skills who work across our academies supporting teachers in their personal development, data analysis and curriculum planning.

We support our employees to make positive choices for their own wellbeing and encourage an open and understanding culture across and between all roles in the Trust. Our Employee Assistance programme offers 24/7, free legal, financial and counselling provision to all staff.
