What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an inspirational, resourceful and academically qualified full time science teacher to join our successful and established science department. The school would welcome applications from NQTs as well as experienced teachers. This is currently a temporary position for one year with the potential to become permanent.
We wish to appoint a colleague to this post who has:
- A strong background in Science, ideally with experience of teaching to A level
- A passion for teaching, and a track record as a highly effective classroom practitioner
- The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
- A commitment to professional development
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
