Teacher of Science job summary

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational Teacher of Science who will engage, enable, and empower students in their learning. The successful candidate will be dynamic, creative, and ambitious, with a strong commitment to building a culture of trust and excellence within the classroom. This role focuses on delivering high-quality teaching that fosters curiosity, develops scientific knowledge and skills, and nurtures a strong sense of identity aligned with our school’s values.

Skills and Qualifications:

- A strong interest in science with the ability to inspire and engage secondary school students
- Good communication skills to effectively deliver lessons and interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to plan lessons that meet curriculum requirements for Key Stage 3
- Basic classroom management skills ensuring a positive learning environment
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop professionally within the teaching profession
- Relevant qualifications or training related to science or education are desirable but not essential
