What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of science as part of our school science teaching team.
The teacher of science will be accountable for: Planning and teaching lessons to the classes they are assigned to teach within the context of the school’s plans, curriculum and schemes of work. Whilst we are happy to accept applications for all science specialities we would be particularly interested in those able to teach chemistry and/or physics up to key stage 5.
Our successful candidate will have the following experience, skillset and qualifications:
- Commitment to improving student learning and raising achievement
- Enthusiasm to inspire in students a desire to learn and participate
- Honours Degree
- DfE recognised Qualified Teacher Status

Further details about the role
The post is full-time and permanent, to begin in September 2025 and is suitable for both experienced and Early Career teachers. This role reports to the head of science.
