Founded in 1878, Borden Grammar School is a highly successful, vibrant and forward thinking grammar school for boys located in the heart of Sittingbourne. The school has a coeducational 6th form and is also part of a thriving post-16 partnership with two other local schools (both selective and non selective).
The school regularly achieves outstanding outcomes giving genuine opportunities to young people, many from more deprived neighbourhoods. This academic development takes place in the context of a culture where we are focused on developing young people to change the world for the better. The school ethos and house system is built around our values of kindness, creativity, resilience, courageousness and respect with effort at its root i.e. “striving forward together”. This means you would be working in a caring and progressive community focused on supporting both students and staff to reach their potential.
