Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Science teacher who wants to make a real difference?

We are seeking a committed and skilled practitioner to join our outstanding special school, delivering engaging and accessible Science lessons to students working towards GCSE qualifications.

Our students have a range of additional needs, and we pride ourselves on offering a nurturing, structured, and aspirational learning environment. You’ll play a vital role in helping young people develop scientific understanding, curiosity, confidence, and independence, equipping them for life beyond the classroom.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver creative, inspirational Science lessons up to GCSE level.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of learners. Work as part of a highly supportive and collaborative team.
  • Foster a calm, positive, and encouraging classroom environment.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience or interest in working within a special school or with SEND learners.
  • Is confident in delivering Science curriculum content up to GCSE standard.
  • Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Believes in every student’s potential and is committed to inclusive education.
  • Experience or interest in teaching additional subjects, reflecting the flexible and holistic nature of our curriculum

This role would suit both an Early Careers Teacher or a teacher with experience who is passionate, enthusiastic, and eager to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
