Cromer Academy is seeking an inspiring, innovative and dedicated Teacher of Science to join our team; a teacher who shares our belief that all pupils have the right to succeed and have access to the very best education.
The successful candidate will be required to deliver a broad, balanced, and inclusive curriculum for pupils and to support the Science curriculum. You will monitor and support overall progress and development of pupils and contribute to raising standards and pupils attainment. You must be able to enthuse, engage, motivate, and challenge pupils to raise achievement at all levels.
In addition to this, the right candidate may have the exciting opportunity to take on wider school responsibilities.
Cromer Academy is a community school in its truest sense: it is at the heart of the area it serves, and is ambitious and determined for its young people. The academy is in easy reach of some of the most spectacular beaches and countryside in the UK, but this is no sleepy rural school. We are rated Good by Ofsted with Outstanding ratings for leadership and management, and for personal development, behaviour and welfare.
We are part of the Inspiration Trust, twice ranked as the country’s top family of comprehensive schools for pupil progress to GCSE, and work closely with our fellow schools across the region. We are committed to offering excellent professional and learning opportunities for our staff.
