The successful candidate must be able to provide an excellent level of education, put students first, raise standards and transform lives. Our approach to school improvement is undertaken through close working relationships and ongoing challenge and support.

You must have high expectations for all, be an excellent teacher/communicator and be committed to supporting every student.

For the right candidate, there is the opportunity to take on a Pastoral TLR as Second in Charge (2ic) of Year 10 or Year 11, working alongside the Head of Year to support the wellbeing, behaviour and progress of students in the year group.

DPA offers a truly comprehensive and inclusive education, serving a vibrant and diverse community with 1,150 students aged 11 to 18. The Academy provides high-quality continuous professional development and learning opportunities.

Ditton Park Academy is an exciting new free school which opened in 2014. Since this time we have grown as both a staff and student body, moved into our brand new £19 million Academy site, achieving our first set of fantastic GCSE results and then opening our brand new Sixth Form in September 2019.
Ditton Park Academy is the first school opened by The SASH Education Trust (Slough Association for Secondary Headteachers) and we benefit enormously from the support and collaboration of the 13 secondary Head Teachers in Slough.
