TEACHER OF SCIENCE – Full time, Permanent
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Science Teacher to join our successful and forward-thinking team. We would particularly welcome applicants with a Level 3 Biology subject specialism.
If you have a strong ability to engage students, a commitment to delivering hands-on, applied teaching, and a desire to prepare students for progression into further study or employment, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across our science courses. You will create a dynamic, practical, and industry-relevant lessons that equip students with the technical skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in their next steps. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will ensure students develop a strong foundation in their chosen field, while also embedding employability and real-world applications into your teaching.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual with a degree in science, or a related field, alongside a teaching qualification. Whether you are an experienced educator or transitioning from industry into teaching, we welcome applications from those with a passion for classroom/vocational learning. The ability to engage learning of all abilities, deliver practical and applied teaching, and support students in developing both technical and transferable skills is essential.

Salaries are competitive, based on the Sixth Form College teachers’ pay scale (£32,178 – £49,725 FTE per annum). Please note that these pay scales are reviewed annually by the National Joint Council (NJC) and are subject to a nationally agreed pay award, which, once agreed, will be backdated to the 1st September 2025.
