We are committed to developing students who are curious, knowledgeable, and critical thinkers, offering a broad curriculum that combines the IB Diploma and Middle Years Programmes with GCSEs.All Sixth Form students take at least one science subject, with a large proportion of sixth form students choosing to study science related subjects at university.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Science, who is able to teach Biology or Physics up to and including Key Stage 5. This role is available as a full-time or part-time position.

Our Science Faculty is at the heart of our commitment to academic excellence and innovation. We provide a stimulating and well-resourced learning environment where students engage with scientific concepts and develop essential practical skills. Science teachers at Hockerill are able to specialise at Key Stage 4 and IB Diploma level, with most teachers taking general science classes in Key Stage 3.
