Teacher of Science job summary

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of science in our leading edge school. The successful candidate will be a creative, inspirational teacher who is ambitious for future promotion. The post would suit either an early career or recently qualified teacher or one who is seeking to develop subject leadership experience. The ability to teach an additional subject, (Maths / Computing / Business Studies in particular) would be an advantage. In return, the post holder will benefit from the full support of a talented team of staff and will have the privilege of teaching fantastic students. Langtree is a heavily oversubscribed 11-16 school with Leading Edge status. We are located in the South Oxfordshire countryside, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, between Oxford and Reading. Academic results are outstanding in science and across the school. Ofsted state that behaviour within the school is outstanding.
