Teacher of Science (Maternity Cover) job summary
JOB TITLE: Teacher of Science (Head of Science available for a suitably experienced candidate)
Grade and Salary: Main Scale (TLR 1A, £7,894 per annum, pro rata for Head of Science responsibility)
Working pattern: Full Time
Contract term: Maternity Cover
Location: Frederick Gent School
The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful Science Department starting January 2020 to cover a period of maternity leave. This role will be responsible for inspiring students through your passion for teaching and for driving and maintaining a high standard of results.
The post would equally suit a confident and ambitious NQT or a more experienced teacher, for whom a TLR may be available for the Head of Science responsibility.
The person:
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved.
