Start Date: 1 September 2023
We are seeking to appoint a temporary Teacher of Science to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching of Science across the ability range at KS3 and KS4; in addition, the ability to teach KS5 Biology is desirable but not essential. Applicants should be passionate about teaching Science, able to encourage and engage our students, and demonstrate excellent classroom skills. The successful candidate will be joining a science department which consists of a large team of experienced colleagues, supported by our fantastic science technician.
Applications are welcomed from experienced colleagues, or ECT’s who are looking for a supportive environment in which they can further develop their teaching skills.
As a temporary post to cover maternity leave, it is currently anticipated that this position will be until 2 June 2024 (subject to maternity notice periods).
