Teacher of Science (Maternity Cover)

The Bishop Wand School is seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Science teacher to join our thriving and well-established Science Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners who are passionate about science education and committed to enabling all students to achieve and make excellent progress across Key Stages 3-5.

This is a fixed-term position to cover a period of maternity leave, commencing as soon as possible, with the possibility for a contract extension for the right candidate.

We are looking for a teacher who shares our ethos of “Realising God-given potential” and who can demonstrate a clear vision for outstanding teaching and learning. The successful candidate will be committed to securing high standards of achievement, making learning engaging and relevant, and supporting students in developing the knowledge and skills needed for their future careers.
