What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic, resilient and inspirational Teacher of Science to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner to teach Science across Key Stages 2, 3 and 4, whilst supporting the development and delivery of Science throughout the school. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring a coherent and progressive Science curriculum from primary through to secondary, supporting colleagues with curriculum delivery and sharing subject expertise where appropriate.

The role will also involve delivering accredited pathways, including Entry Level, Level 1 and BTEC qualifications, and may include vocational programmes such as land-based studies and other practical learning opportunities. We are looking for someone who can inspire curiosity, develop scientific understanding and create meaningful learning experiences that prepare pupils for their next stages of education, employment and adulthood. We would welcome applications from candidates that can offer the teaching of other curriculum areas.

Experience of working with pupils with additional needs would be advantageous, but applications are welcomed from excellent teachers who are committed to inclusive education and passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
