We are looking for an excellent teacher who has high expectations and continuously strives for the best outcomes. We are offering an exciting opportunity to join The Hamble School during a period of rapid improvement and change. Our intake numbers are increasing – we currently have 1170 students and are looking to expand our staffing further.
The Science Department consists of a dedicated team of experienced staff. It is well-resourced with a number of newly refurbished specialist classrooms within the Science building. Our aim is to deliver an inspiring and challenging curriculum which includes practical lessons, real-life Science experiences and the development of key Science skills. We work closely with ExxonMobil and University Hospital Southampton to deliver engaging talks and programmes as well as offering trips and visits to Science related industries.
We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic teacher from September 2025, who has the drive and commitment to improve outcomes.
This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs. This is an opportunity for a new or experienced teacher to join the school at a very exciting time.
