Required from January 2027 - A passionate Teacher of Science with a Physics specialism. You will deliver inspiring Science lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including A-Level Physics at KS5. You will join the vibrant and friendly Science department at Coombeshead Academy, a thriving 11-18 school within Education South West. For a suitably qualified and experienced candidate, a TLR is available for the role of Physics Lead

The Physics Lead is responsible for leading and managing the Physics curriculum to ensure outstanding Science provision across Key Stages 3-5.

Key Responsibilities:

Partnering with the CTL to develop and manage the Physics curriculum across all key stages.

Driving student progress, ambition, and attainment in Physics.

Supporting the CTL in implementing robust quality assurance processes across the department.

Leading subject-specific CPD and professional growth opportunities for Science staff.

Carrying out other reasonable duties as required to support departmental goals.
