Required for September 2020 Wootton Academy Trust is recruiting for Teachers of Science. We are seeking highly motivated, inspirational and dynamic Science teachers to join our thriving and supportive Science department. Science is a popular subject at WAT and large numbers continue to study Science in Years 12 and 13 with at least two [and often three] classes in Biology, Chemistry and Physics in both Year 12 and Year 13. Our academic results in Science are strong, the department has secured value added scores well above the national average for the past two years. These opportunities could suit either an NQT or an experienced teacher who is committed to enabling every student to achieve the very best they can, and is dedicated to their own professional development. Applicants must possess graduate subject knowledge and have high expectations. The ability to teach across the age range, including A Level at our STEM college, would be desirable.
