Teacher of Secondary Combined Science (Full Time) job summary
We are seeking a dedicated, resilient, and compassionate Science teacher to join our Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), a small and supportive setting for pupils aged 11-16. Our provision supports young people who require an alternative to mainstream education, often due to social, emotional, or behavioural needs. This full-time role involves teaching Science up to GCSE level for students across KS3 & 4, many of whom have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or SEND. The successful candidate will play a key role in raising attainment and leading subject development across the school.
This role can be challenging, but it is equally rewarding. You will work closely with a small group of pupils, building strong, trusting relationships and making a genuine difference to their academic progress, personal development, and future opportunities.
