Job Description:
As Deputy Head of Science, you will support the leadership and management of the Science department, helping to deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for students aged 11-18. You will work closely with the Director of Science to develop curriculum plans, monitor student progress, and contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at raising achievement.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Secondary Education.
- Strong subject knowledge in science disciplines relevant to Key Stage 4 (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
- Effective communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that meet diverse learner needs.
- Good understanding of data analysis related to student performance
