What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors are seeking to appoint a committed and compassionate Teacher of SEN to join our Learning Support Department in our Ofsted-rated Outstanding school. This is a rewarding opportunity to develop your career in a supportive, ambitious, and inclusive environment.

We are looking for a skilled and reflective practitioner with high expectations, who is passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to succeed. The successful candidate will deliver personalised teaching and targeted interventions, particularly for students with Autism and ADHD, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve strong academic and personal outcomes.

You will join a dedicated team that places inclusion at the heart of its work, supporting students both within the Learning Support setting and in accessing the mainstream curriculum. A collaborative approach and a commitment to building positive relationships with students, staff, and families are essential.

For the right candidate, there may be opportunities to contribute to the development of SEND provision or take on leadership responsibilities within the department. Candidates are encouraged to highlight any relevant experience or interest in this area.

We welcome applications from both early career teachers and experienced practitioners who are seeking a role where they can make a meaningful impact.

Our school offers a strong sense of community, excellent professional development, and the opportunity to work within a forward-thinking and values-driven environment.

If you are dedicated to inclusive education, motivated to support every student to thrive, and keen to be part of a team that values care, expertise, and collaboration, we would be delighted to hear from you.
