Tuxford Academy are looking for a looking for a teacher of Teacher of Social Science (Sociology and Psychology) to join our talented and supportive team. We would very much recommend and welcome you for a visit so you can meet us and understand our community.

This post would suit either a new entrant to the profession or an experienced teacher. We would welcome a teacher returning to work after a career break and will consider part time or flexible working where possible.
We endeavour to utilise each teacher's specialism and offer the opportunity to teach A level in our sixth form centre for the right candidate.

Essential
- Ability to teach core Social Science subjects such as Sociology and Psychology to KS4 and KS5
Desirable
- Ability to teach further Social Science subjects such as Criminology, Health & Social Care and Child Development to KS4 and KS5
- Experience teaching and marking coursework-based curriculums at KS4 or KS5
- Ability to teach other subjects such as Global Awareness and EPQ
