What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic, forward-thinking Teacher of Spanish with energy, intellectual capacity and determination to join our successful MFL Department, and make a difference to the lives, aspirations and opportunities of our young people.
The successful applicant will be an outstanding professional who takes pride in their work and is determined to develop the teaching of Spanish so that students of all abilities enjoy their learning and are motivated to succeed. Our new colleague will be an experienced Teacher or a confident and able ECT with a passion for their subject and who is able to translate knowledge and information into lessons that inspire our young people and enable them to explore, understand and appreciate Languages.
Languages are growing in popularity within our UKAT sixth form, and the post holder will have the opportunity to teach up to A level in their specialist subject. All students take a minimum of one Language at GCSE with some opting to take 2. The Trust offers a supportive network of colleagues and the postholder will have the opportunity to develop their skills in collaboration with a wider range of specialists.
