Teacher of Spanish job summary

The Bishop of Winchester Academy is seeking a passionate language specialist to join our thriving school as a Teacher of Spanish. This will be an exciting opportunity to join a strong, stable and inspirational MFL team with passionate leadership. Whatever your career stage you will be supported to develop further language knowledge and to enhance your teaching tool kit so that our students are able to confidently read, write and communicate in the Spanish language. This is a Part Time (0.6) Teacher 1-year Fixed Term Contract. Please do contact us for further information regarding this.

Our Head of MFL would be delighted to take you on a tour of the school and give you the opportunity to meet the department and answer any questions you may have.

As Teacher of Spanish, you will join an established and strong team to:

  • Play a fundamental role in helping to move the MFL department to the next stage in its development
  • Plan and deliver high quality and engaging lessons that will challenge students and inspire progression
  • Encourage students to have high expectations of themselves and their behaviour
  • Be able to teach GCSE
  • Be a positive role model and supportive mentor to students
