The Role

You will deliver high-quality, engaging Spanish & French lessons that develop students' confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing while fostering an appreciation of Spanish & French-speaking cultures. You will play a key role in maintaining and developing a strong Modern Foreign Languages curriculum, using creative and engaging approaches that make language learning relevant, challenging and enjoyable.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has the ability to teach Spanish & French across the secondary age range.
  • Is able to deliver dynamic, engaging lessons that inspire students to develop their language skills and cultural understanding.
  • Has excellent subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for language learning.
  • Believes in every student's potential and is committed to inclusive, high-quality teaching.
  • Has a passion for student development and supporting learners to achieve their very best.
  • Embraces professional development and contributes positively to departmental and whole-school life.
  • Is committed to promoting the value of languages in an increasingly global society.
