Teacher of Special Needs job summary

- Carry Out Professional Duties of a School Teacher
- Plan and Prepare Lessons
- Ensure Teaching Programmes are regularly monitored
- Ensure Specific needs of the Children are addressed
- Be responsible for the pastoral care of children
- Produce and support Annual Reviews
- Be actively involved in the planning and execution of School Improvement Plan
- Have a general responsibility for the safeguarding and well-being of pupils
- Produce and maintain Risk Assessments
- Organise and maintain classroom resources and equipment
- Attend relevant training courses
- Participate in the Statutory Performance Management/Appraisal arrangements
- Carry out other teaching and associated tasks as may be required by Headteacher
