About the Technology Department:

The technology department at Caister Academy is a vibrant and rapidly growing department. We currently have 5 subjects taught within the department and 5 teaching staff and 2 full time technicians. Engineering, catering, computer science, business and finance come under the technology banner. Students value the subjects taught within the department with each subject having an excellent uptake at KS4 each year. As well as excellent attendance at KS3 electives. All workshops and computer rooms have recently been refurbished and state of the art equipment installed. Outcomes for students within the department are extremely high with the vast majority of subjects attaining well above average progress for pupils with some being in the top 5% in the country.
