We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated teacher to join our vibrant vocational department.

We are looking for passionate individuals with a desire to support and promote outstanding education to join Ruskin’s progressive and dynamic staff team.
This is a temporary post and would suit a newly qualified or experienced teacher. Applications are welcomed from qualified teachers as well as those with experience of teaching these subjects in other educational settings. The post is temporary to start as soon as possible and would end on 31 August 2027.
The vocational department are a small department currently consisting of 4 teachers. There is a variety of Level 2 and Level 3 courses offered. At Level 2 we offer Health and Social, Childcare and Hospitality and Catering. At Level 3 we offer Health and Social (BTEC) and T-Levels in Education (Assisting Teaching) and Health (Supporting Adult Nursing).
The successful candidate will teach a number of the vocational subjects we offer. Primarily Level 2 Hospitality and Catering and Level 3 Health and Social. Experience in one of these areas and a willingness to develop their understanding of other vocational areas would be advantageous.
