We are looking for someone who:

- Has a desire to work within the Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) structure;
- Has experience working with children with SEND (advantageous).

The Avenue Primary School and Children’s Centre is looking for caring and skilled Teacher to work within its Resource Base provision. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT, who is passionate about the development and success of every child. SEND experience is preferred for this role. QTS status is essential.
We are a vibrant co-educational, non-denominational primary school, educating children between the ages of 3 and 11. Located in the charming garrison town of Warminster, Wiltshire, our staff are dedicated to creating a safe and exciting place for children to thrive and learn. We take the success of every child very personally and offer a wide range of opportunities to help them develop as confident members of our school community. In January 2023, we were proud to have retained our ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and were praised for being a fully inclusive school where everyone is respected and treated fairly. We are part of the Acorn Education Trust, which provides exciting opportunities to collaborate and improve local education.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and classroom skills and be able to teach across the full age and ability range within our school, including pupils requiring SEND support, so experience in this area is advantageous. A team player, you will work with other dedicated Resource Base staff to support pupils in their learning and will make a real difference to their school lives.
