What skills and experience we're looking for
Wistaston Academy is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our specialist SEND provision for pupils with Speech, Language and Communication needs and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
This is an exciting opportunity to work within an outstanding school (Ofsted 2024), as part of a well-established and highly regarded provision within a mainstream setting.

We are looking to recruit an ambitious, proactive and highly motivated teacher who:
- Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team
- Has a strong commitment to inclusion and meeting the needs of every child
- Is well organised, flexible and adaptable
- Has high expectations of attainment, achievement and behaviour
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is a reflective practitioner with a desire to continually develop their practice
- Has a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
