Does this sound like you?
You are looking for a teaching position for September 2025?
You are committed in ensuring every child is loved and valued and no child is left behind or forgotten?
You want to develop a child’s love of learning and to nurture and encourage their unique talents as they discover their path in life?
You have a passion for working with a range of backgrounds to provide the best possible education?
You are looking for a supportive yet ambitious school to grow professionally?
To start in September 2025, we are looking for primary and secondary teachers, including ECTs, to join our St Teresa of Calcutta Multi Academy Company (MAC) family. You will join a community of enthusiastic teachers committed to making a difference to the lives of children. We offer you a working environment where you are nurtured and valued as an individual with unique gifts and talents and where you have opportunities to grow and develop as a professional.
We are offering you the opportunity to attend a ‘St Teresa of Calcutta MAC Experience Day’ and following this, if you are interested in working in one of St Teresa of Calcutta MAC schools, an opportunity to apply for our St Teresa of Calcutta MAC Teacher Pool.
What the school offers its staff
Teaching in a school in St Teresa of Calcutta MAC offers you the opportunity to:

- Be part of a family of schools which are courageous in their ambition to provide excellent experiences and to deliver outstanding outcomes for all children they are privileged to serve.
- Work with colleagues who are hard working, committed and dedicated in enabling each child to reach their potential and in ensuring children are prepared to contribute meaningfully to the world.
- Work with an enthusiastic and supportive Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team who puts the interests of the children first and are committed to the continual improvement of their school.
- Be supported and nurtured by the St Teresa of Calcutta MAC Central Team with opportunities to professionally grow and develop within the MAC family.
Further details about the role
What is involved in a St Teresa of Calcutta MAC Experience Day?
These days are informal, it is not like attending an interview. They provide you with the opportunity to find out more about working in a St Teresa of Calcutta MAC school and to gain a ‘feel’ of what are schools are like. You will have the opportunity to meet and talk to some our children and staff and to visit classrooms. Staff will be available to answer any questions you may have and to talk about teaching in a Birmingham school and what it is to be a member of the MAC family. During your visit they may ask you a little about yourself. Your visit will last approximately 90 minutes.
