About you

You will be responsible for teaching children with special educational needs, undertaking related pastoral and administrative duties, and understanding and incorporating all areas of pupils Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) in day-to-day provision. The successful applicant should have a passion for working with children who have special educational needs and disabilities. It is essential that the successful applicants are either QTS/NQT qualified and have proven experience working with children with special needs.

The Role

We are excited to offer an opportunity an SEN Teacher to join our friendly team. The Piper Centre is a Specialist Resource Centre catering for 30 pupils in total. Our aim is to make every one of our pupils feel valued and successful, to achieve and understand themselves as individuals. The children are at the heart of everything we do, developing academically and socially in our friendly environment which offers safety and security whilst nurturing confidence and independence.
