Do you want to earn while you learn? The Kite Academy Trust are recruiting for SCITT Primary Apprentices for our 2026-27 SCITT cohort. Our one-year SCITT Apprenticeship offers a distinctive route into primary teaching, allowing you to earn a salary while gaining hands-on experience in a school and achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

As an apprentice, you will be part of a supportive, forward thinking, people and pupil-centred trust and we now offer many unique and unrivalled benefits to our pupils and people.
You will be employed by an academy within the Kite and receive a salary as you develop your skills and confidence. Centre-based training will take place every Friday up until May when you will move to 5 days in school. In the spring term, you will complete a placement of six weeks in a second school.
We are looking for an individual who:
• Has the potential to be an excellent teacher
• Holds a 2:2 bachelor’s degree (or above/equivalent)
• Holds a standard equivalent to a grade 4 in GCSEs Maths, English Language & Science
• Has a minimum of one-year experience of working in EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Is polite, positive & friendly
