A rare and exciting opportunity has become available at Hull Trinity House Academy for a Teacher/Tutor of Nautical Science/Maritime Studies to join them in September 2021 on a full time, permanent basis. The salary is MPR/UPR (or equivalent), with a TLR (or equivalent) being available for the right candidate to take on the subject leadership role for this department.
Hull Trinity House Academy is a secondary school for boys located in Kingston upon Hull in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. As an educational institution with over 230 years of history, Hull Trinity House remains very proud of its history and traditions and our motto ‘Spes Super Sydera’ (Hope Beyond the Stars) still neatly sums up our Academy’s aims of continually raising aspirations, widening horizons and empowering our students to achieve their potential.
A further expansion to our Academy is the Hull Trinity House Nautical College which additionally provides education for post 16 students. This position is to contribute to the development of maritime students, teaching students from the ages of 11 years to 18 years. Currently based at Carmelite House in Postengate, Hull, it has state of art equipment including a simulator suite, chart rooms and 2 training vessels.
