Teacher - Upper Key Stage 2 Leader with TLR (English) job summary

We are a 1.5 form entry school in Tipton, taking children from Nursery through to Year 6. Foxyards is proud to be a member of Manor MAT.

Foxyards is a wonderful place to be with kind, caring and happy staff, parents, and children. We refer to ourselves as the ‘Foxyards Family’ and we really do work as a team to Achieve Excellence Together. Our school values are extremely important to us. Both pupils and staff live out the school’s values: caring, respectful, creative and resilient.

Foxyards was judged to be a ‘Good’ School, during its Ofsted inspection in October 2023. They agreed that Foxyards is a warm and welcoming school, and that pupils are happy and speak positively of the opportunities provided for them. They said: Pupils enjoy their learning across their subjects and want to succeed. Pupils behave well. They are well mannered and respectful in class and as they move around the school site.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone passionate about English to lead and shape the direction of the curriculum in school.

The person we appoint must be dedicated and committed to providing the very best for children in both their personal and academic outcomes as well as being a committed part of a team. A sense of humour and warmth is a must too!

We can offer:

Amazing children that make every day exciting

A wonderful and supportive team of staff throughout the school

High quality CPD in house and through being part of Manor MAT Teaching Hub

An outstanding MAT with a proven track record of school improvement and supporting staff

A happy and inclusive school
