Cover Teacher - KS1 and KS2 - Wanted for January 2024 (two terms p/t)

We are looking for a child-focused team player, someone who is an engaging and flexible teacher - to cover classes whilst our Deputy headteacher covers leadership duties. 

We are looking for someone fun but professional, someone who will be a good team player, someone able to apply school procedures consistently and work well with our teachers in providing an engaging education for our pupils. 

The number one quality we are looking for is flexibility - we are a really supportive team and all work hard together, as one, to better the lives of our pupils. 

The role would suit someone looking for work on the pay range MPS1 to MPS6 and the advertised salary is the full-time equivalent. This role is actually part-time and either two, two and a half or three days per week. 

Waterside Academy is a small but very friendly one-form entry primary school, situated in Welwyn Garden City in central Hertfordshire. We have excellent transport links and free parking on school site. 

We are a proud member of the Aorga Learning Partnership and benefit from an abundance of cross-MAT CPD training opportunities.
